![[Dragonfly Catcher3.png]] I had an eye doctor appointment today, `2026-10-22`, at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, after which I walked thru the passageway connecting the Clinic with Galleria Mall. I visited the Kinokuniya Bookstore there and happened upon a most beautiful traditionally-bound book of Japanese Haiku. Each page has the ***Rōmaji*** (which is the romanization/transliteration of the Japanese into the Latin alphabet), the vertically printed ***Kanji*** (Chinese characters adopted into the Japanese writing system), and the ***Hiragana*** (The Japanese syllabary for easier reading), and the English translation of the Haiku.
